Catholics Vote Common Good Launches Billboard Campaign

First billboards hit in Michigan. Pennsylvania & Wisconsin to follow

Lansing, MI, October 8 - The progressive Catholic voter outreach and activation organization Catholics Vote Common Good has taken the boldest step yet in their efforts to reach Catholic voters where they are this election cycle. Today, they launched an aggressive billboard campaign. 

 

Catholics Vote Common Good has emerged as the leader in progressive Catholic political action this cycle. Their other activities include:

 

  • Hosting a panel of members of Congress and Catholic leaders at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago and faith-centered, pro-democracy programming during the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.

 

  • Serving as the only Catholic organization in the Harris-Walz campaign's progressive allied organizations coalition, Catholic Kitchen Cabinet, Christian Kitchen Cabinet, Faith for Harris social media and press outreach leadership teams, and the leadership team for the Pray It Forward 40 Days of Prayer initiative.

 

  • Sending thousands of postcards to Catholics in swing states.

 

  • Supplying thousands of Catholics for Harris-Walz lawn signs to voters throughout the country.

 

  • Staffing a weekly phone bank for Catholic volunteers nationwide.

 

  • Standing up voter canvassing events for the final weeks of the campaign.

 

  • Assisting clergy, lay leaders, and young Catholics in sharing their points of view in opinion pieces published throughout the country.

 

  • Hosting regular national organizing and educational meetings as well as prayer gatherings.

 

  • Partnering on rallies throughout the country including with the Polish community in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania on October 16.

 

  • Taking part in the Vote Common Good bus tour, rallies, and trainings throughout the country.

 

  • Launching a Catholic Get Out the Vote initiative scheduled for the last weekend of the campaign, and…

 

  • Publishing a weekly newsletter.

 

Catholics Vote Common Good's billboards will go up throughout the month in Macomb County, MI, Milwaukee, WI, and key communities in Pennsylvania.

Pray Us Forward - 40 Nights of Prayer

Catholics Vote Common Good is joining together with faith organizations throughout the country for nightly interfaith prayer calls now through Election Day. 

 

This initiative is a chance to lift our voices in unity, pray for justice and equity, and take meaningful action for our communities.

Catholics Vote Common Good to Join the Polish & Ukrainian Communities for a Very Special Event in Support of Harris-Walz

Catholics Vote Common Good is hitting the road to Pennsylvania! Join us in Wilkes-Barre.  Our first stop will be at the National Shrine of our Lady of Czestochowa-Polish Catholic Church in Doylestown and for a 11:30 am Catholic Mass to show our respect to the Polish American community and their Catholic heritage.

 

Location: 654 Ferry Road, Doylestown PA

 

Then we will be door-knocking and canvassing key Polish American neighborhoods from 3:00 to 6:00pm that Wednesday!

 

Luzerne County party folks will line up drivers to take us to our pre-selected neighborhoods to go door-to-door.

 

Meeting at Location: Luzerne County Democratic Party office at 60 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701

 

Then we are having a dynamic event in Wilkes Barre!

 

When-Where: 7:00pm on Wednesday, October 16th Rally -- possibly at Wilkes University in Wilkes Barre, PA

 

Featured Speaker:  Former Congressman Tom Malinowski (NJ), Polish American-Former Deputy Asst. Secretary of State has committed and is one articulate expert on why Americans should support for NATO and Ukraine

 

Also featuring: Rep. Matt Cartwright (PA-8th CD), PA State Rep. Eddie Pashinski (Polish American), and Catholics Vote Common Good’s very own Denise Murphy McGraw.


Celebrity Star Speaker: Christine Baranski (star of Mama Mia and Gilded Age) will close the rally in an electrifying fashion!
