Catholics Vote Common Good Hits the Campaign Trail in Pennsylvania

A collage of 3 photos. On the top left, actress Christine Baranski and former Congressman Tom Malinowski speak to a voter while doorknocking in the neighborhood. On the bottom left, Denise Murphy McGraw speaks at the Polish Americans rally. On the right, the crowd is gathered on the steps outside the Polish Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa as the church reaches high up into a bright blue sky.

The day started in Doylestown with a Mass at the Polish Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, then the group headed over to the campaign headquarters in Wilkes-Barre for some canvassing, later there was a packed house for a rally organized by Catholics Vote Common member Steve Rukavina featuring our national co-chair Denise Murphy McGraw and some of the best pierogies we've ever had!

Thousands of Postcards are Hitting Mailboxes

Thanks to nuns in Missouri and Wisconsin, church groups in Detroit and Pittsburgh, as well as volunteers in Los Angeles, Upstate New York, and Florida, thousands of Catholics Vote Common Good postcards are landing in mailboxes of Catholics in swing states.

This Catholic to Catholic outreach effort is the only one of its kind and we are very grateful to all our volunteers. We know you are helping make a real difference in this election!

John Kenneth White’s newest OpEd with Signs of Victory for Harris

A graphic featuring a headline for an OpEd from The Hill by John Kenneth White, dated October 15, 2024. The headline reads: “Forget the polls: Cultural signs point toward a Harris victory” Included is a photo of a beaming Kamala Harris speaking at a rally with an enthusiastic crowd waving Harris Walz signs behind her. The crowd with the signs are out of focus.

Between now and Election Day, the voters will be inundated with polls attempting to forecast the election outcome. That answer intrigues all of us.

As Alexander Hamilton once said, “Every vital question of state will be merged in the question, ‘Who will be the next president?’”

But relying on the polls as accurate barometers of public opinion has been questioned ever since Donald Trump emerged as a political force. In 2016, the polls wildly missed the mark, as the vast preponderance of them gave Hillary Clinton a strong lead.
